I really want to practise gratitude on a regular basis. I’ve a lot to be thankful for, though I may not always realise it. Gratitude is known to make us happier, strengthen our emotions and increase self- esteem. These are just three of the many benefits that can be gained from showing appreciation; what’s not to love? The purpose of my monthly gratitude posts is to get me into the regular habit of thankfulness and hopefully gaining some of the benefits it has to offer, if not all! I hope it will help you too.
The things I am grateful for this month are:
Creativity – if it wasn’t for this, Guts, Giggles & More wouldn’t be here today. It’s helped me a lot this month in regard to content.
Books – despite my love for reading, I’ve recently fallen behind on this. I picked it up again at the beginning of January and I have almost finished the book. All I want to do is carry on reading it and as soon as I have spare time I get back to it.
My mum – I’ve finally been able to arrange for my mum to go on holiday this month. She’s currently livin’ it large in Prague. Hopefully, I’ll be able to do it again soon.
Health – I feel like things have been really good in terms of Crohn’s. I’m eating a lot more, slowly gaining control of anxiety and even though I am still fatigued, I genuinely feel motivated to get healthier.
I hope you enjoyed my list of things I am grateful for this month. It helps us reflect on the here and now of our lives. What are you grateful for?
Love and light,
Guts, Giggles & More x
