January

At the beginning of each week within the months, I have decided to post an inspirational quote of the week. I’m doing this in the hope of sharing inspiration, motivation and support. This is for everyone, not just those with IBD. If you have any quotes that have stuck with you, please share them as I’d love to know what helps you stay motivated.

8th January 2018

“The woman who walks with the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The woman who walks alone is likely to find herself in places no one has been before”
– Albert Einstein

I love this. To me, this screams ‘be unique, be you’. Who cares if you have a different taste, different interests or a different sense of style to others? As long as you’re happy, that’s all that matters.

15th January 2018

“We may encounter many defeats but we must not be defeated”
– Maya Angelou

This is one of my favourite quotes by far. No matter what you go through, you must come out stronger.

22nd January 2018

“Change your thoughts and you change your world”
– Norman Vincent Peale

I’m a huge fan of the Law of Attraction, not an easy skill to perfect mind. This quote perfects the meaning of a positivity mindset, as it is that which will lead you to a positive life.

29th January 2018

“We can’t help everyone but everyone can help someone”
– Ronald Reagan

I love helping people, this quote makes me realise that I can’t always help everyone. However, someone can always be helped by others too.
